Each day, hundreds of Roadrunners make the trip from their hometowns to one of the Shriners Children’s locations.  Roadrunners are Shriners who volunteer their time to help ensure our patients can keep their appointments by providing transportation to and from our health care locations.

    Cahaba Shriners offers transportation service for patients residing in North Alabama. Children who reside in the 10 North Alabama counties under the jurisdiction of Cahaba Shriners are offered transportation service to the hospital where they are receiving treatment.

     Depending on their medical need, patients from North Alabama receive care from the Shriners Hospital in Greenville, SC (orthopedic), Dayton, OH (burns/cleft lip and palate) or Philadelphia, PA (spinal cord).
